Do you complete the bookkeeping services at my premises or at Cornerstone's?
We will normally arrange to collect your records monthly and then complete the bookkeeping at our offices, however some clients have a specific requirement that the bookkeeping is undertaken at their premises (due to a computer system being linked to shop tills for example). In these circumstances we will be happy to complete the bookkeeping on site.
Does it matter that I have an Accountant?
As part of our service, we provide a year end pack for you to give to your Accountant. This pack contains everything he/she will need to complete your annual accounts and will make their life easier as well! If you don't have an Accountant, we can provide you with an introduction to our sister operation Cornerstone Accountancy
How do I sign up?
First of all we would come and see you at your premises and have a look at your business records so that we can understand how your business operates. We will go over the various services we can offer you and then provide you with a tailored quote. If you are happy with the quote then there are a few simple forms to complete and then we can commence your bookkeeping and/or payroll straight away.
My bookkeeping hasn't been done for a while - can you still help?
Yes we can and a lot of business owners find themselves in this position - we will provide you with a quote to get everything up to date (which is paid in advance) and then we would charge monthly for our ongoing services.
Is it expensive?
We think our charges are very competitive. We have streamlined our office and service procedures and only use experienced staff. This allows us to complete routine and other tasks in a highly efficient manner. Yes we are in business to make a profit, but we believe in charging a reasonable price in return for our services.
What is your service guarantee?
We aspire to make your life easier every month, however we recognise that in all businesses, at times, things can go wrong. If you feel in a month that our services have fallen below our usual high standards then please contact the office and let us know. If we can't resolve your issue to your satisfaction, we will refund you with that month's fee.
